    Yay for Neville!

    I just read this Slate article about how difficult it is to adopt from a rescue and how they are driving people back to breeders or the pet shop. Thought you might be interested:

    Want to adopt a dog or cat? Prepare for an inquisition at the animal rescue.

    Hi Anita,

    That’s so true. We had to fill out so much paperwork to even be considered for adoption. They even had someone come and inspect our house to make sure it was corgi-approved. It’s effing nuts.

    I can understand a few precautions, but some rescues are taking it to the extreme.
