Protein shakes, a protein bar because I’m trying to get a few more calories this week, an hour on the recumbent bike, and five chins. Someone stop this crazy train before someone gets hurt.

I have to show you my spring training plan preping for a may 50 miler and a summer 100 miler. Im averaging 65 miles a week that’s with 2 not running days that i spend recovering, lifting and oh, ya, eating my family out of house and home. soooo eating is a matter of how much i want to put in the budget. not eating enough is my biggest problem.

That’s a crazy amount of mileage. I can’t even imagine. My knees hurt just thinking about it. And a hundred mile race… that’s mind blowing.

I didn’t keep track of how much I was spending on food while I was bulking over the winter, but my budget for food at least doubled. I wouldn’t be surprised if it tripled. The body needs the fuel for what you want it to do. A lot of people don’t get that, especially when they’re dieting.
